Real Estate Agent

I work with individuals and families who are relocating to Maine, and those who are selling or looking for homes or investment properties in Maine.

I get tremendous personal pleasure from helping people find their dream properties, and setting them on the course of fulfilling their aspirations for themselves, their families, neighborhoods and communities.

I have logged many years working in, exploring and enjoying many of the communities that comprise Maine's 16 counties -- from the coast to the mountains, from the northern to the southern part of the state.Over the years, I have developed particular knowledge of the following areas: Greater Portland and South Portland, Scarborough, Cape Elizabeth, the Midcoast, including coastal and inland Knox and Waldo counties and coastal Washington county.

The following experiences shape my interests and orientation: having spent a large portion of my childhood in India, Africa and England; sustainable farming, local food production, and farmland preservation; and the inspiration and leadership I've witnessed in community revitalization around Maine.

My previous career involved working with foundations and nonprofits locally, nationally and internationally, including the Maine Community Foundation, Outward Bound,Aspen Institute's Community Strategies and Nonprofit and Philanthropy Groups, and the UN Special Court for Sierra Leone. Through these deeply rewarding experiences, I was recognized for my strategic abilities, follow-through and implementation. I grasp complex issues quickly, effectively assess and connect players and issues in a landscape, anticipate trends, develop rapport and trusted relationships, and work effectively in partnership.

I have thrived working collaboratively, and with a very broad network of diverse people. This holds me in good stead in real estate where sellers and buyers, the financial sector, municipalities, and building trades intersect.

When I am not working, I am spending time with my family and friends. I am currently involved in the Hopeful Links Program, which connects unaccompanied minors from war-torn countries to housing, schooling, and community resources in Maine.

I am a graduate of Colby College, ME (BA) and American University, D.C. (MS).
