Real Estate Agent

Amy first spent time in Maine during college when she spent her summers working in Boothbay Harbor and Southport. After graduation, she taught Kindergarten at Morse Street School in Freeport, and then over the next 15 years enjoyed living and teaching in several cities throughout the country.

In 2005, while living in Houston, TX, she and her husband purchased a summer home at Diamond Cove on Great Diamond Island. Soon after, they purchased the Diamond Cove General Store, and Amy operated the seasonal store for several years. During that time, she received her real estate license and became a Broker for a local boutique firm. She ran a successful branch office on the island for 10 years.

Amy recently joined Legacy Properties Sotheby's International Realty as a Senior Vice President Broker. She is excited to represent a premier real estate company with expertise in waterfront and luxury properties. She is an experienced Real Estate Broker with a demonstrated history of working with buyers and sellers of historic and waterfront property, buildable lots, and vacation rentals. Her full-time presence on the island and passion for the community allows her to provide unparalleled personal service for all her clients real estate needs. She looks forward to sharing this beautiful, unique place with clients who are looking for a lifestyle to enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of island living, with the convenience of being 2 miles from Portland; a great dining, cultural, and shopping destination.

Amy is the former President of the Board of Directors at Rippleffect, Inc. and continues to work closely with the local non-profit fundraising for their scholarship program. She continues to own and operate Great Diamond Rentals, a vacation home rental company on the island.

Amy recently completed construction of her full time home at Diamond Cove. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors on the waters of Casco Bay, running the island trails, gardening, spending time with family and friends, and playing ball with her young-at-heart dog, Charlie.
