Laura is a true Mainer having grown up summering in Boothbay Harbor before her family became year-rounders in 1969, the ocean and sea have always been in her blood and the beauty of Maine is never to be taken for granted. The love of taking off for a long drive and popping in and out of small towns and dirt roads along the way has brought magnificent beauty and wonder and helped lead her to a decade long career assisting buyers and sellers in Mid Coast Maine.

A graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, she worked in and ran two preschools in the Portland area and Boothbay Harbor for more than 17 years. While at Farmington she had the great opportunity to train at Sugarloaf Mountain Resort childcare and work at Gepetto’s restaurant for several seasons and there she recognized her passion for skiing also and has now been “a Sugarloafer” for since 1986.

Whether in one part of the state or another and whichever career she is in she tries to bring passion, professionalism and kindness & knowledge to her customers and clients. Having always admired nice homes, different aspects of people and the outdoors is what led her to real estate in 2008 and what has helped her love her job every day, some days it doesn’t even feel like a job and whatever clients and customers are looking for, whether it be a 2nd home, 1st home, condo, piece of land or investment property, looking to sell and relocate she is willing to go the extra mile to help you find it or sell your property.

Laura resides on Southport Island with her husband Tom and two Golden Retrievers Gus & Parker, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going for walks, taking a day cruise on their boat, playing golf at Boothbay Region Country Club or nice visits with groups at Boothbay Harbor & Down East Yacht Club’s and in the winter spending time at their condo at Sugarloaf. On Southport Laura & Tom are members of the Southport Yacht Club & Southport Island Association and enjoy the four seasons & activities.

Laura tries to give back to her community and often can be found volunteering with the boards of Rebuilding Together, Friends of Windjammer Days, and a member of The Congregational Church of Boothbay Harbor she helps on the hospitality committee and servers as a deacon and is a member of Coastal Women’s Connection, Coastal Rivers Conservation Trust, and the Friendly Folks II in the Damariscotta region.

Laura has served in the Lincoln County Realtors Board for several years and was President of the Lincoln County Council & Mountain to Shores Board of REALTORS in 2019. She also serves on the state level of Maine Association of Realtors and helps run the annual LCC American Red Cross Blood Drive. Laura enjoys real estate and the willingness to help in whatever capacity is needed and that motto has served her well and something she takes pride in.
