Mount Desert Island Office Welcomes Nicole Richardson, Vice President

Legacy Properties Sotheby’s International Realty, Maine’s leading luxury real estate company, is proud to welcome Nicole Richardson to the Northeast Harbor office. This is their sixth real estate office to open in coastal Maine.

Born in Bar Harbor and raised in Somesville, Nicole has spent much of her life exploring the unique beauty and allure of Mount Desert Island and surrounding coastal Maine. With a successful background in area hospitality sales and marketing she brings an in depth understanding and over a decade of training in the highest level of customer service and local marketing. Nicole spent many years of her career in hospitality guiding her clients through the intense process of booking, planning and executing their weddings. In her real estate career she looks forward to using the skills of detailed communication, timely response and constant support to her clients to help them navigate selling or buying in the local real estate market.
After many years of travel Nicole made her way back to MDI with a clear understanding of why this area of Maine is a draw to so many. She built her own home on MDI in 2011 with her husband Kyle, a local contractor, and is enjoying raising her two children in the same small town community that she was raised. Nicole volunteers and donates to the Bar Harbor Food Pantry and spends time exploring Maine with her family, hiking in Acadia, boating to other coastal islands, reading and making jewelry.
