Portland, Maine Real Estate (September 2020) — Legacy Properties Sotheby’s International Realty, Maine’s #1 Luxury Property Company, is proud to announce that Dana Whittaker has joined their firm.

Dana Whittaker is a twenty year industry veteran, and has coached teams and offices in Nevada, Arizona, Texas and California with remarkable success. Dana grew up in San Diego and graduated from San Diego State University. She then moved to Las Vegas where she launched an award-winning real estate career and completed a four year program for an Advanced Professional Coaching certificate. Moving back to Southern California in 2011, Dana helped a start-up brokerage firm increase production by 431%. As branch manager of Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty in Carlsbad and Encinitas, she supported agents closing over a billion dollars in residential real estate sales with an impeccable record.
“Twenty years working in direct sales, client acquisition, recruiting, technology and risk management training, focusing on agent growth and office culture has taught me discipline, perseverance and the importance of going the extra mile, and to have a mindset of gratitude and abundance. I love helping people create a plan and the habits to build a legacy,” she says.
Dana and her husband, Chris, have traveled to Ocean Park every Summer with their son and daughter, to visit his family with roots in Southern Maine going back over 100 years. Their kids are the 6th generation to enjoy the cottage their great-great-grandfather built. Dana loves a good cup of coffee, jogging a trail, being out on the water and donating time to non-profits. Her family is excited to experience Maine, “the way life should be,” and is looking forward to seeing the colors of Fall and cross-country skiing in the Winter.
