Real Estate Agent

Born in York, Maine, I spent my early childhood in Spruce Head, a small village on the Penobscot Bay near Rockland and Camden. I graduated from Hall-Dale High School and passed many evenings at Bates College where my father taught music. I received an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Maine, and also hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and a Master of Arts Degree in English from Youngstown State University.

I started investing in real estate in 2004 when my husband and I purchased our first income property. I enjoyed researching the best 'deals' and brought them to our realtor to write up. However, I quickly realized that real estate had become a passion, and decided to become a realtor because I relished finding those special locations and out-of-the-way places others may not discover on their own. I got my real estate license in Maine in 2011 and in Florida in 2018, and am a member of the Realtors Association of Lake & Sumter Counties in Florida and Acadia Council of Realtors in Maine with active licenses in both states.

Communication is key in listening to the needs of both buyers and sellers. I take great pride in matching buyers with properties that best suit their desires and family structure. Working with sellers, I market their property, take quality images that emphasize the best property attributes and explain the process step by step to take the mystery out of buying or selling.

Prior to real estate, I was a live music photographer in the Pittsburgh and Cleveland areas, and my images were syndicated worldwide to major national and international publications. I covered A-List movie premieres and major awards shows, including the CMA Awards, CMA Music Festival, ACM Awards, CMT Music Awards, BMI Awards, ASCAP Awards, SESAC Awards, Academy Awards, Vanity Fair Oscar Party, SAG Awards, GRAMMY Awards, EMMY Awards, Clive Davis, American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards, JUNO Awards and the Toronto Film Festival. I had assignments with the Pittsburgh Symphony, Cleveland Orchestra, RollingStone.com, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, Sports Illustrated, Women's World, Showtime, Kraft, VH-1, MTV, Fox, Disney, American Media Publications and more. I have many fond memories of iconic moments I was able to shoot, including photographing LeBron James during his final basketball game at St. Vincent-St. Mary's High School in Akron. One of the most memorable figures I photographed was Elizabeth Taylor at the Elton John Oscar Party to benefit the AIDS Foundation. For the Pittsburgh Symphony, I photographed Andrea Bocelli during his very first North American performance. In 2003, I started my own photography agency with staff photographers in Los Angeles and New York.

My husband is a former dentist who had a practice in Kennebunkport. We have been together for over 30 years and enjoy travel, particularly in France and Spain. We currently live on Deer Isle, a picturesque island famed for the green suspension bridge that was built in the 1930s to connect it to the mainland. In my free time, I enjoy photography, hosting Airbnb guests, dining out, watching live music performances, horseback riding and visiting small towns within the state. Get in touch today if you are looking to buy or sell in Hancock, Knox or Waldo counties.
