Originally from Ohio and a graduate of Miami University and Case Western Reserve Weatherhead School of Management, Lois first came to Maine as a college student working a summer job at a lobster pound. Twenty years later she moved to Maine with her husband and 2 golden retrievers as they all loved the outdoors lifestyle with easy access to the ocean, hiking trails, beaches and blueberry picking.
Lois’ professional career transitioned from being a successful consultant for a big-5 firm, Oracle, to passionate involvement with Maine real estate for over 14 years. She is especially knowledgeable about residential properties, energy efficient net zero design, and renovations. Lois has developed an extensive network of relationships with lenders, architects, interior designers, and other brokers which are made available to her clients as they navigate the sale or purchase of unique properties.
Lois’ customers receive extraordinary service whether they are purchasing or listing a condo, cottage, traditional home or oceanfront estate. She is a vibrant ambassador for Maine and welcomes out-of-state buyers who are in search of their dream home. For sellers, she skillfully designs a marketing plan to identify and target the right buyers by featuring the unique qualities for a property that grab the buyer’s attention. With skillful negotiating skills, she works to get the best contract to achieve her clients goals.
An active outdoor enthusiast, Lois enjoys tennis, golf, biking, sailing and newly discovered passion for pickleball. She is Efficiency Maine certified, member of the Falmouth Board of Assessment Review, and supports Partners for World Health and Sail Maine. With every transaction she donates to Legacy’s Legacy Charity Fund -“Giving Back to Maine” program.
Exceptional attention to detail and superb pricing analysis resulted in a contract on my home within 4 days despite a very difficult selling environment. Comparative market analysis and thorough knowledge of the current market as well as in depth contacts on the buyers side of the equation resulted in multiple showings and a rapid sale. In summary excellent planning and preparation leads to great results.

Lois Lengyel played an intricate part to our moving to Maine. If not for her support and patience for three years we may not have met our goals. We moved from St. Louis, Missouri to Cumberland Foreside Maine a long journey that came complete with our dream home thanks to Lois.
