I live year around on the island of North Haven. I was born and raised here where my family has lived here for 7 generations! I know the history of the island, the properties, and both the year around and the summer communities. As is so common in many small towns, we still refer to the houses & properties by the name of the first owner, even if the house has changed hands a dozen times.
I have seen many changes on the island, but the beauty and sense of community have remained constant.
I graduated from the University of Maine, worked as the Town Clerk, and owned a yarn shop which allowed me to indulge in my passion for knitting. My husband Dave is the only year around minister on North Haven. We raised our sons here and now have the pleasure of three grandsons, two live right across the street from us. They are the ninth generation of my family to reside on the island.
We share our home with one beloved Scottie, Brodie, and several cats, all rescues.
It is my pledge to represent all of my clients, be they a buyer or a seller, with the honesty and forthrightness that islanders are known for. That is the way life should be.
I presently serve on the board of the North Haven Foundation and have also served on the Planning Board, the Appeals Board, the School Board, the E-911 committee, North Haven Development Committee, the North Haven Library Association and various church committees.
