The Hotel Pemaquid is located 150 Yards from Pemaquid Point with it’s rugged rocky coast line and lighthouse. The Hotel is highly visible on the road that leads to the lighthouse. Even though the property is not directly on the water, the pounding surf is only a short walk from the Hotel.
The property has been beautifully cared for and the attention to detail is very visible in all aspects of the buildings and land. A great stone fireplace dominates the main lobby and common room and the antique furnishings placed throughout the room generate a cozy comfortable feeling.
Many of the rooms are housed in the “other” buildings on the property. Each one has it’s own special distinctive qualities. The Carriage House, across the street from the main Hotel has been recently restored and houses a wonderful suite or it could be used as very special Innkeeper’s quarters.

Innkeeper's Space:
Owners have a few alternatives for their Innkeepers space. There is a small apartment directly off the back of the main Inn building. The Hotel’s managers currently use this space.
Another alternative is the beautifully refurbished Carriage House. This space is currently used as a guest suite. It is a very spacious studio type apartment with a separated feeling to the living and sleeping spaces.
